Four Letter Domain Names Perfect for Custom License Plates

If you don’t already have a four-letter domain name, you might find that it’ll cost you a pretty penny to get one. That’s because many people have started to realize the value of using the short domain name as a way to advertise their interests or businesses. Simply add a “.com” to the address and you’ve got Custom License Plates that act as advertising for you. Everywhere that you drive your car, you’ll be getting the attention of people on the street. Leave a lasting impression and they’ll head to your website to find out what you’re all about.

Let’s say, for example, that you owned an online candy store. Buy up the domain name “cndy” and you can put “cndy.com” on your customized license plate. People behind you will get curious and check it out – especially if they have in-car Wi-Fi! Of course, if the domain name that you want isn’t available, you can always get a longer one and use different types of on-car advertising. Magnetic Car Signs and Window Graphics both offer alternative auto advertising. But if you really want to be on the top of advertising trends, you’ll buy up a four-letter domain before it’s too late.

Hey - thanks for the link. There is another way to do this and it works with up to 8 character domains. I have another domain that is a .com. In nc, I can get up to 8 characters on a plate. I am getting those 8 characters on a plate and my car has enough space before and after the plat for me to “extend” the plate and make it say http://www. PLATE .com

The NC plates are red writing on white. I am using magnetic sheets you can get at a craft store to apply the “www.” and “.com”. I’ll document all of this soon :)
