I Hate Being Short

I really hate being short.
At five foot three and three inches, I am the shortest person in my family. My sister is about an inch taller than me — five foot five — and my dad is about five foot six. My mom is the tallest at five foot eight. (My dad’s height is an estimate, as he’s never let us measure him. I just know my mom is taller. Evidently I get my short genes from him.)
Apparently, though, there is a way I could get some more height growth, even though I’m well out of adolescence (I reached my full height about 15 years ago, when I was only 12 or 13). There are some products that use growth hormones to promote growth and development. Since part of the brain triggers hormone production and release in order to stimulate growth spurts in childhood and adolescence, hormone therapy can apparently help promote growing taller in healthy adults.
Of course, I plan to talk to my doctor about this first. It all sounds pretty safe, but you can never be too sure!
