My husband and I are taking our first vacation since we’ve had kids.  I have to admit, I’m a bit nervous about flying and traveling with two kids.  My oldest is ten years old and the youngest is eight.  I have no idea how they are going to do on a plane.  They seem really excited about it though.

We’re staying at a pretty nice hotel in Orlando.  We’re going to go to Universal Studios, Sea World, and Wet ‘n Wild.  I already checked into rental cars in Orlando.  We’re going to rent a SUV.  I figured that would be the easiest thing to do.  My kids are small but they seem to take up tons of space.  I’ll also never figure out how two little people have so much stuff!  If we just get an Orlando car rental, we can keep stuff in the car and just keep our own schedule.  I think that things will be more fun and relaxed that way.

My aunt and uncle live in Orlando.  They volunteered to watch the kids for a couple of evenings.  My husband and I are going to check out the Food and Wine Fest and maybe even go golfing.  I’m a terrible golfer but I think that it is fun and my husband loves it.  The kids will have a blast at my aunt’s house and it will be nice to spend some time with my husband.  So, although I am nervous about traveling with the kids, I really am looking forward to this trip.  I think that we’ll all have a great time.

I am expecting my second child and we just learned that the baby is a boy.  We are so excited because we have two children already and both are girls.  This is going to be our first boy and our last child so we are trying to make it special and really tend to every detail.
